After returning home from a quick trip to the grocery store our garage door would not open. The friendly folks at Precision Garage Door Service had technicians out to our house within a couple of hours. They did a quick rebuild and we were back in business! Everyone was courteous and my husband and I were thrilled with the prompt service.

Quick response, appropriate notice on ETA. Jon Holbrook!! He was very professional, super informative, and didn’t mind us watching at all. The whole time he kept us in the loop with what was no longer usable/safe and what time we had left with some parts. I was grateful that the problem was able to be solved within the same day that I called. Unfortunately, the pricing of the service was very misleading from the inquiry of the initial cost to the completition of he service. I was told one price for what I wanted, but was billed way beyond what I was prepared to pay. Glad I did not make out my check ahead of time. There was a strong misunderstanding based on how I received the information told to me. The tech apologized for not being clearer in his explanation. Leaving out words is not the way to do business.

Thank you for calling and allowing us to service your garage door. We are sorry to hear there was a miscommunication between the base price per spring that the call center provided and what the technician quoted you for the repairs. The technician is required to do a 25 point inspection on your garage door and explain any issues that might be going on including the one you originally called for. We only perform work that has been approved by the home owner. He recommended other components of your door be replaced along with the springs. Since there were more parts, the price would be higher. The repair quote that you approved was for two springs, two end bearing plates, two drums, one bracket, one tube, cables, a tune up on the door and a warranty. We appreciate you speaking with our service manager to discuss your experience. If we can assist you in the future, please don't hesitate to call.

My wall unit is acting weird. It sometimes won't function. Then the garage door opened by itself without any of us opening it. I'm worried because what if the garage door open garage door open by itself and we're not home.. my daughter who is a borderline autistic stays home by herself while me and my wife is at work.. pls.
