Repairman Blake Adams arrived on schedule, was very polite, listened to my concerns and discussed what actions he would undertake to correct the situation. Good afternoon, I always have great service with Precision Garage Door Services. I used them when I was in South Carolina with my other house. When I needed a garage door repairman, I looked for Precision. Both Gentlemen were very knowledgeable and skilled. They took their time to see if I had any questions and were satisfied with their work. If I need garage service again, I will call them. The work is worth the price.

Emailed back and forth with company rep to get a quote for converting garage doors from traditional extension springs to torsion springs. She confirmed that the conversion would be between $375-425 including parts and labor. So $850 at most. Two gentlemen arrived at what I thought was going to be the replacement appointment. They took a look and proceeded to tell me the that the cost was roughly $2,600. I told them what I was quoted before and after removing tax and removing door roller replacement to “make me a deal” it was down to roughly $2,200. Needless to say I said no thanks. We have since gone with a different company and the torsion conversion is $325 per door (parts, labor and taxes included). So not only was it a huge surprise for the quote to change so drastically between contacting the company and techs at the home but precision was not even close to competitive on pricing. Again, precision at roughly $2,200 is nearly 3.5 times more expensive. Another company is doing the same job for $650 (including, parts, labor and tax).

We had this company come out because a security camera company installer broke the garage door. Our service tech Bruce, called when he was on his way and gave us an accurate ETA. Bruce was extremely kind courtesy and very professional. Upon arrival he identified the problem within a matter of minutes and had the issue resolved and was walking us through the process within 15 minutes. He even informed us that our IQ garage door had an app (the previous technician never showed us any of this). He helped us download it, register and set everything up and made sure we understood everything before he left. Definitely would recommend this technician to anyone who wants top notch quality service! Thank you Bruce! Cannot comment on pricing due to the fact the security company paid the bill.
