Very pleased with Precision’s work and customer service. Brandon, our technician was prompt, he explained to my wife what the problem was and what the repairs entailed, but since I wasn’t home at the time I asked if he could come back to go over it with me, and he was very accommodating. He came back later and explained everything and gave us a good and better options. Even though it was more expensive than I expected I felt secure in proceeding with the repairs. More than a month since the repairs I feel comfortable with our decision to go with Precision.

My call to Precision Garage Door of Raleigh to schedule an appointment for an estimate to replace two doors was the best decision that I could have made. The moment that John Lefevre came to our home to assess our wants and needs confirmed that decision. He was most courteous, understanding and professional. Having samples to see what our build would look like was extremely helpful. He explained the timeline for the custom doors to be manufactured so to alleviate any concerns. The installation by Luke Fisher was just as amazing. He was most personable and professional and completed everything in one day. There was one thing that the distributor had forgotten, the grill inserts for the windows. Luke had taken care to get them from the distributor and before I had left for work the very next morning at 8am he had already come by the house placed them in the windows. The entire experience from sales to installation was very efficient and professional. Very expensive. Just to replace 2 sensors, they charged me $450. Its just $85 each for a sensor. After $170 for 2 sensors, service charge to replace was $150! Unbelievable! I just moved in that day when my garage door went on strike. I didn’t had time to fix myself hence called precision. I will not prefer their service going forward

Our project was to replace our aged, noisy, unsightly two-car garage door, tracks, and spring. From start to finish on this project, Precision gets 5 stars all the way. John, the Precision sales rep, reviewed our current door setup. He then presented us with a wide array of door styles and options. He recommended replacing our functional screw drive opener with a more modern opener for less wear-and-tear on the new door, as well as quieter operation. The price for totally overhauling our garage door system was awesome, completely reasonable. As an added benefit, we were able to pay the down payment (and final payment) by credit card, on site. While we had to wait for the door to be manufactured, the installation occurred well within the time frame expectation that John had set. Shane, our installer, was the best. He was on time and single-handedly removed, packed away and cleaned up the old door/hardware and installed the new door, hardware, and opener. The door is beautiful. The opener, springs, and new tracks provide whisper-quiet opening and closing. Shane reviewed the various aspects of the new door system, leaving a can of lubricant for an annual touchup as well as all the opener remotes we could possibly use, including an outside keypad (that he installed). When we noticed a few minor “touchup” issues, Shane offered to come out the next day (Saturday). Since the issues were minor, we agreed that the following week would be fine. Shane was out first thing Monday morning, issues resolved. 5 stars, no question: a door and opener that exceed our expectations; tremendous pricing; excellent people – both on the sales end and the installation end; and outstanding service. My only regret is that I didn’t call Precision 10 years ago. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door.

Jonathan Holbrook was a true professional. He quickly completed the job; which appeared to us to be just a broken torsion spring, however, the bearings and cables were 30 years old and worn out. He clearly explained the situation to my wife in a manner that was easily understood and not in any way like a “salesman”.
